Sami, I remember the first time Frank and I, Jenny and Lauren met you. You came with Donna to our home In Highland Lakes, New Jersey for a family celebration. My first thought was how honored we were that you came so far to meet Donna’s extended family. Traveling 1 1/2 hours into the mountains of Sussex County was no easy task and most visitors did not enjoy the journey! Doing so showed us the respect and love you had for family! We loved you already!! While we were preparing dinner, Jenny Lauren Donna and I were In the kitchen chatting! My daughters (being teenagers) turned to Donna and said “Sami looks just like a movie star”! Sami overheard the comment and chuckled! We peeked in and saw him smiling from ear to ear! This was the beginning of so many wonderful years with Sami and Donna Chris Cassie and Mathew. Summer birthday parties, Christmas celebrations. I am so grateful that my 3 grandchildren Devin Gabe and Noah got to experience their Great Uncle Sami’s love. Sami you will be cherished in our hearts always. And we will all be reunited in heaven.You beat us there! You got to see Jesus face to face first!
