It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dr. Sami Sayegh on Friday, October 23, 2020. His beautiful spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Sami was born in Jordan on December 20, 1958. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 12 and went on to complete his degree in medicine, specializing in pediatrics. He was a longtime resident of Scarsdale, NY and touched the lives of countless children and adults through his successful medical practice in Yonkers, NY. He also served as the Director of Pediatrics at St. Joseph's Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Donna Sayegh (Daquila), and his three amazing children, Christopher, Cassandra, and Matthew. He is also survived by his brothers, Yacoub (Lourans) and Osama (Lisa) and his sisters, Fadia (Talal), Nadia, Kafa (Issa) and Sana (Nader). He is predeceased by his parents, Elias and Amameh and his brothers, Farouk (Amal) and Naseem (Christine) and his sister Ferial (Raji) and his nephew Jack. On Behalf of the entire Sayegh and Shehadeh families, we want to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Our family has suffered a great loss, but we believe that heaven has gained an angel, and that we will meet again. "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live" – John 11:25 May he Rest in Peace
