Julia B. Jefferson was called home on October 26, 2020 after a long illness. Born to Eli and Julia Williams on November 22, 1930 in Mount Kisco, NY, she attended the local schools, graduating in 1948. She married Clive Jefferson in 1951 and they had one son, Michael. Her husband passed away in 1993. The third of five children, she was always feisty and outspoken, the life of the party and a lover of good jokes. She was active serving the community for many years, serving as Trustee on the Northern Westchester Hospital Board of Trustees for 12 years, where she was appointed Chairman of the Personnel Committee and President of the Staff Housing Corporation.
She was a Trustee of the Historical Society, a former member and consultant to the Town Assessment Review Board and was a member of the Board of Directors of Friends in Service Helping (FISH).
