This was one ofthe saddest weeks our family experienced. Aunt Cookie was a pretty big part of our lives. Our family always looked forward to Thanksgiving and Independence
Day when she would come to our home for dinner. It’s hard to believe that almost one week ago, without knowing, we said our final good-bye when we talked to her last Saturday. We told Cookie how much we all loved her and could not wait to see her. My mother was even compiling a mix tape so we could dance when she was better. We are just in shock, and very sad that we will never hear her voice, stop by for a visit and talk about anything and everything. She always remembered our birthdays, and called us almost every day to see “what’s new.” The pain of this loss is starting to set in. We will ll cherish the good times and the laughter of many years we shared together. We miss you and love you.
RIP Aunt Cookie.
