He was one of my first Bosses (at J P’s house of good foods) he was definitely the best boss I ever had. He was one of the nicest and Funny guys you could be around. He was a hard worker, but he also knew how to have fun. Working in the deli for the years I did was one of the best experiences of my life. I think I was under 20 years old at the time at least when I started I remember hanging out till 5 o’clock in the morning opening the deli at 6 AM. I remember Yolanda, who was the cook I remember Ray who took him. I’m the inventory of the store. I remember Ralph who worked there. He was probably a little older than me but a great guy and strong as an ox. Richard Pagano (last name probably spelled wrong) Richard would come to work in the deli after his regular job around 3 PM but he’s also one of the first people I went to Sues rendezvous with and was the best firework connection you could ever have. Of course I remember his kids, Lisa and Mike the whole family was great. There’s some people you think about often and that whole experience however, many years I work there was probably one of the better times in my life. They don’t make people like Richie anymore and they sure don’t have delis Like house of good foods. We were open from 6 AM to midnight I believe and was busy the whole entire day
I have not seen his brother Gary in a long time. Hopefully he’s doing well. Hopefully the whole family is doing well. I don’t miss many people, but I miss that bunch.

Thanks for giving me one of my first jobs at the deli, and definitely the job I had the most fun at and even learned the most from. Never saw Richie in a bad mood always happy and joking.

My sincerest condolences to Richie’s family and friends.
I hope the love you have for one another will help you through your grieving period.
I knew Richie from when I was a teenager, he will always hold a space in my heart.
