Richard Bonfiglio, 77 of Yorktown Heights, NY, passed away unexpectedly on 4/15/21. He was born on 7/27/1943 to Bruno and Gloria Bonfiglio in Lenox Hill hospital in New York City. He was raised on East 114 St. during his childhood and then relocated to University Avenue in Yonkers, NY. Richard attended PS4, St. Patrick's Academy, and then graduated from Lincoln Highschool in Yonkers. Richard started his career as a butcher and went on to become a motorcycle salesman in White Plains, New York where he met his future wife, Wendy Bonfiglio. Richard went on to open his own business "J. P's House of Good Foods" in the Bronx, New York where he spent the next 30 years. He retired from the deli business to follow his passion of helping people by opening his own driving school. Richard had a heart of gold and was adored by everyone he came into contact with. He had a unique personality and was always cracking jokes and never let the stresses of life bring him down. He was a loving father and grandfather. Richard is survived by his by his wife Wendy, his three sons Michael, Richard, and Steven, his two daughters Lisa and Brianna, and his five grandchildren Robert, Nicholas, Michael, Christian, and Camden. Richard is also survived by his three brothers Eugene, Dennis, and Gary, and one sister, Angela.
