Old memories:
When I was a little girl, I used to sneak up on Aunt Mary and Uncle Geet to catch them kissing.
I remember her drying her long wavy hair in the sun in the front yard.
Aunt Mary put my hair in a pony tail for the first time one Easter.
I have many happy treasured memories of my favorite aunt. She was the best aunt and best friend.
I’m consoled when I think how happy she must be to see Uncle Geet, her mother and father, my father and Uncle Joe.
Rest peacefully, Aunt Mary. You will be in my prayers and in my heart until we meet again.
