Matilda Raia, known to many as "Mattie", age 80 passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021. She was born on July 2, 1941 in the Bronx, New York where she also attended school. She lived in The Bronx most of her life but resided at the Paramount Nursing Facility in Somers, New York since June of 2010. After school Matilda became a Hairdresser. Matilda was predeceased by her parents Natalie and Philip and her brother Jack. She is survived by her brother John Michael (Antoinette) Raia and her nephew Alec Raia and his wife Angela. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 3 - 7 P.M. at Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main St., Mt. Kisco, NY. Mass will be held on August 25, 2021 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY.
