As a child, I remember. I remember taking long drives to East End to visit with Aunt Ilma and my cousin dem, Irma, Emlyn, Kevin and Ada. I would always come back home with something for me , from Nancy Drew books from Ada and something to eat from Aunt Ilma. I remember. As a young adult, I remember taking summer trips with you and Mommy so that I could attend Music Camp. I remember. When I became an adult, I remember. I remember going to Holy Cross Catholic Church for 9am Sunday Mass with my boys. I would make sure to sit where I could see you , I would take communion just so that I walk by your pew to touch you. I would make sure to wait for you to exit Church to kiss you. I remember. You had such a love for dogs much like myself. I remember giving you a puppy. I remember just before you left St. Croix home , you gave that puppy back to me with her own bowl, her own treats and it showed me just how much we shared a genuine love for dogs. I remember.
Aunt Ilma I will never forget. I love you Then , Now , and Forever !!!!

My condolences to my cousin's and close family members! Aunt Ilma was one of my favorite Aunt's. This is just one of my favorite memories of Auntie. When I first left St Croix, I called Auntie and as we were talking she says, "But Valmy you talking well proper". :) As we're laughing I said, "Auntie, I'm so tired of repeating myself when I was talking to these stateside people". Lol! We definitely had a good laugh on that one.
