A: William (Billy) , a true gentleman, gracious, elegant, and a man who oozed class.
I was very lucky to have known him. .
30 years ago when when my parents lost their son, our brother David, we were returning to our home after his funeral. Billy was waiting in the driveway. He hugged my parents; walked into our house; rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to organize our luncheon. He personally served our family thus brightening one of our darkest hours. Billy was a wonderful man. We will miss him.
Lucille, I’m lost for words. When you called with the news I was shocked. We had only recently talked and later I sent a photo of us in the Marines. We helped each other survive. Lol. Our lives took us apart but he was one of my best and oldest friends. He was in my wedding party in 1962. He was always such a class act. I will always remember him.
