To meet Gavin is to know Gavin. And to know Gavin is to know a generous, thoughtful, loving and provocative man. You could never sit quietly in a corner with Gavin. He would engage, cajole, listen, and learn.
I have known Gavin, and been a part of the Singh family, for a long time and whenever apart, always look forward with relish to the next meeting.
Gavin has always been hugely generous, in every respect. And he will therefore be hugely missed. By many. It is a truism that we touch many more lives than we ever realise. I dare not even guess at how many lives Gavin has touched, how much sadness there will be at his untimely passing, nor how much love will be sent to his family by those around the world who knew him and will carry fond memories for the rest of our lives.
