Obituary of Thomas E. Field

It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of Thomas E. Field, 48, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, who lost his battle with cancer on September 7, 2022. Tommy was born on September 25, 1973 in the Mt. Vernon, New York to Richard and Lorraine (Ferrara) Field. After graduating Charles E. Gorton High School, Tommy proudly served the City of Yonkers as an Auxiliary Police Officer. He worked for the Yonkers Public Schools for 17 years then began working for Empire City Casino in Yonkers, NY as a Security Officer. Tommy was a kind, funny and sweet man, who always had a joke and a smile for everyone he encountered. He will be greatly missed by his family as well as all his friends and coworkers. Tommy is survived by his dear father, Richard Field and his wife Karen; loving brother, Michael Field and his wife Michelle, loving sister, LorrieAnn Frame and her husband Shawn. He is also survived by his adoring niece and nephews, Brenda Lynn Vazquez and her husband Chris, Matthew Frame, Nicholas Frame and Christopher Frame as well as his great nephew Niko as well as several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his beloved mother Lorriane Field in 2009. Tommy's family would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding during this difficult time. A Memorial gathering to celebrate Tommy's life will be held, Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with a Prayer Service at 5:30pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10704. Cremation will be private.
