I remember as a child, Aunt Mary with outstretched arms and big hugs and kisses. I can still hear her voice welcoming me into her arms.
Our families grew up together, along with other cousins. Aunt Mary and Uncle Phil and cousins always there for celebrations of life and Sunday visits.
I came to realize as I got older that Aunt Mary is a bigger than life women; exceptionally loving, caring, happy, witty, courageous, independent and strong.
Of course there was always a bounty of good food on the table.
As time went by and I moved away and stayed in touch with phone calls and visits when I went home to visit my family. She was always interested in what I was doing. Took great pleasure in my life and she proudly shared the events and celebrations of her family.
Her love for people is seen in the beautiful family she leaves behind.
She will be remembered by us all. Rest in peace Aunt Mary

Dear Mary,
You were indeed a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to your family! I have know you for many many years and have always admired and loved you! I know you were joined by Phil and your sisters in Heaven. My father was so fond of you and Phil, and when dad passed not too long afterwards, Phil greeted him in Heaven with open arms!
When we were together at parties, I would always sit near you and we would laugh. You and I would greet each other by the name of Madiooch. It sounds funny, but, it is a memory I will always treasure.
I know you will continue watching over everyone and taking care of our little babies (Sienna and Luca) who passed.
A famous cook and baker!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love you,
Marie D

We lost my mother-in-law who was truly a second mom to me and a tremendously loving grandma to Alexa.
I’ll never forget the first time I met you and you told me you loved me, I loved you back more!
Your fierce love of family was always such an inspirational guide. Your cooking and baking was unmatched especially your eggplant parm. Your detailed memories you shared of your loving marriage, children and childhood were so special and now I have those memories to keep & cherish.
Thank you for always making me feel like your daughter in every way.
Thank you for giving me your son who is the most loving, caring husband & dad who adores his girls.
I know your loving husband was at the gates to greet you in his loving arms.
We love you mom forever & always❤️

Ms. Mary was warm welcoming when we met. In our short space of time knowing this Independent woman, she shared mostly her cooking skills and where to get the best Italian bread, beans and cheese. She was indeed very good at baseball and basketball in her childhood, she loved interacting with people and that she enjoyed dancing and of course her children and the rest of her family and friends. Ms. Mary will be missed by all who shared Phenomenal memories ❤️ Keisha
