Dear Poggiogale Family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. There are not many words that are adequate to accurately articulate the heros our parents were. Teseo and Maria were Shepards to my parents. Mom told me stories of her staying with them when she first came over and how Zio Teseo helped my father get his first job putting on wine labels in the factory near Park Hill before my dad was able to get into the union as a mason. My dad always laughed his heart out when he was around Zio Teseo. His happiness was infectious and contagious. He is yet another member of this amazing class of just the best people God ever created.
Don’t be sad, he was simply just next in line. I know he is laughing and dancing again in heaven. I’m sure they’re both doing side jobs up there. Celebrate his wonderful life and all he provided for you and spend the rest of your life trying to be half as impactful. I would call that a win.
