Teseo Poggiogalle, Sr. sadly left us on October 7,2023, following a brief illness. He was 91 years old. He was born in the town of Tagliacozzo, Italy and came to Yonkers in 1949. He was predeceased by his wife Maria Cellini of 62 years and his daughter Marianna Duffy. He is survived by his son Teseo Poggiogalle, Jr. and wife Lisa, his son-in-law Bernard Duffy, and grandchildren, Michael Duffy (Stephanie), Joseph Duffy, James Poggiogalle (Natalie Zaremba) and Elizabeth Poggiogalle , great grandchildren Olivia and Matthew Duffy and many nieces, nephews and friends. Teseo retired from the General Motors Plant in 1982 after working for 31 years in the cushion room. He loved working with his hands and was a "Master" in many fields including construction, plumbing and painting. He enjoyed helping his family and friends in any way he could. Teseo loved going on yearly trips to the Catskills to compete in bocce tournaments and dancing or listening to music with his wife Maria and other family members. He will be missed deeply by all. May he Rest in Peace.
