Frances (Campone) Fierro died October 28, 2023. She was born on June 22, 1916, to Adriana and Thomas Campone. A lifelong resident of Villa Avenue in the Bronx she lived 107 wonderful years. She was the beloved wife of the late John Fierro and treasured mother of the late Maryann (Fierro) Zappala and late son in law Albert Zappala. She was the cherished grandmother of John and Joseph Zappala and great grandmother to Bobbie Zappala and Theresa (Zappala) Jackson and was a great-great grandmother of four. She was the beloved sister of 13 siblings and an aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. At 107 years old, she was described best as a beautiful, loving, and fun woman. She was a beacon of strength and warmth to her family and friends, her unwavering love for her family was evident in every action and her kindness extended far beyond her family circle. Frances' death leaves a void that can never be filled. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her loved ones, and her spirit continues to guide them. Her life may have come to an end, but her legacy of love, laughter and kindness lives on forever. Frances Fierro will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
