Jolinda was my mother's dearest friend. Joey let us order Domino's pizza when we were alone with her and break all my parent's rules :) She knew everyone in our family and was a constant source of truth and love. We will miss her candor, affection, stories, attention, and love, but know she will always be around us. A role model for all women. Condolences to all who knew and loved Joey. xx

My dearest Jolinda,
You were larger than life. Your smile, spirit, sense of humor, laughter and love of life were contagious. And a style icon! As I write this I recall our many escapades and outings where we all shared the different stages of our lives. You were a good friend to all and for me personally like a sister, always there with your guidance and support. I picked up the phone numerous times this week to call you, (because that's what we did) but, I still spoke to you out loud. I will cherish the memories we made and you will live on in my heart always.
Friendship survives death. Memories made will never be forgotten, and they left an indelible imprint on those left behind. Everyone improved as a result of having such a fantastic friend. Saying farewell isn't something we do, until we meet again.

We shared special times and memories traveling around the New York area and even to Pennsylvania for extended family gatherings. With two expecting mothers in the car we made frequent stops to satisfy food cravings and have bathroom visits in route. Much laughter and shared meals prepared us for the arrival of Darian and David both born in January 1971.

Im so sorry to hear of Jolinda's passing. I knew her through her devoted & loving daughter, Darian.
Jolinda's vibrance and love of life was so obvious, and Darian's total love & devotion to her mom was always so clear.
