Jolinda Melendez Rodriguez was born on July 31, 1953. She was the daughter of Gladys and Antonio Velasquez. She was born and raised in the Bronx, the youngest of four siblings. She unfortunately lost her sisters, Vivian and Mona and is survived by her beloved brother David. Jolinda was a fierce personality. She was strong, and didn't let obstacles interfere with her goals. She was a young mother to her only child Darian, whom she adored beyond words. She loved her; and Darian always loved her and the relationship they shared. Jolinda was hilarious, smart, funny and always captured the room because of her tremendous personality. She loved dancing, laughing, a good joke and good food. She absolutely adored her family, all of her nieces, nephews and cousins..it was always pure love beyond words. Jolinda leaves behind the love of her life, Robert Rodriguez who saw her recently through her daily suffering, he will be heartbroken without her. She will live on in the memories they made together throughout their marriage. She will be terribly missed, we ask God to help us navigate life without
