Dear Linda and family, We always liked to hear Vinny and you would be in Ocaean City when we were there. We have many fond memories and pictures in our album. Your family has always been a inspiration of how to stay close and Vinny was the glue. He will be missed by many. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We love you.

Some twenty odd years ago Vinny welcomed me into the Band. Over those thirty years we shared so many laughts and good times on road trips and jobs. He was quik with a laught or a clever remark. He is one of the toughest men I have ever known. May he rest in peace.

God bless the Newman family. I worked with Richie Newman(son of Vinny) on patrol and I can attest to to the great job that Mr. And Mrs. Newman did raising their kids! The extended family of the N.Y.P.D and the Pipes and Drums will always be here for the whole family!

Vinny, you fought a long hard battle. You are at peace now and there is no more pain. You are in Heaven with Finbar (Ducky #1) and all the guys of the NYPD Pipe Band marching across the green grass of Heaven playing Garryowen. I will always remember the great times we shared with the band over the years. You will be missed. Rest in Peace.

Uncle Vinny is what my kids called him. He was truly a Uncle to them. He and Aunt Linda attended their christenings, communions, confirmations and weddings. Many summers were spent together @ the Jersey shore and Ocean City Maryland. We will miss you. May you rest in the arms of our Lord.
