MAMA was a great person.I don't remember a whole bunch, but when I went to visit her I had a lot of fun. She is very feisty. She was a young girl at heart. She has been and will always be loved. -KIARA (GREAT-GRANDDAUGHTER)

Mama. Abuelita querida. I remember so much and it seems like it still isn't enough. She will be greatly missed. The only reason that i learned Spanish was because of her. I remember going over after school and she would be waiting for me. It was like clockwork, at 2:55 you could see her looking out the window and I couldn't be late or she would be at school to get me. She was very protective of everyone, she was like the neighborhood watch. I remember going out with her to pick flowers for the house or going to Bingo with her and helping to set up the plethora of bingo cards (there had to be at least 50). She was so caring and everyone she met loved her... there's a reason she was called Mama by everyone. Mama was always the life of the party. The way she danced always made me smile. She was SO witty and gave the best advice. There are so many memories with Mama. Every day was a story and even though she is gone in body, her spirit will forever remain with everyone that she has touched and her story will live on because she was that amazing.

Mama was so much more than my grandmother -- she was an inspiration in my life. She taught me the greatest lesson on selflessness that I could ever have learned, and it will remain with me forever. Taking care of me for as long as I can remember, Mama was one of the strongest women I have ever had the honor of knowing. I will miss her cafe con leche and crackers, our walks to cut flowers, and the times we watched Don Francisco together. I will miss her smile and gentle eyes. I will miss her dancing and laughter. I will miss our never-ending jokes. I will miss her very essence. With God's grace, I look forward to seeing her in heaven again and interrupt her one more time during Bingo. Mama, oh where do I start? Julito to me about her passing and i think i took it a little worst then I did my dads :( for many, many yrs my mother and brother Julio use to alway tell me that I looked just like her and my aunts, cuz of my big butt and red hair lol & now it kills me to know that not only have I lost my father :( but now my grandmother too :( I love u mama and always will twin, give my dad a huge kiss for me plzzz until I meet u both again <3 los amo mucho mama. from ur redhead who loves u very very much. Always remember, u may be gone but never forgotten.
