Obituary of Rosalie Maisano

Please share a memory of Rosalie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rosalie (Tantillo) Maisano peacefully on January 31, 2011 at Lawrence Hospital, much too soon. Born November 23, 1927 in the Bronx to Providence and Frank Tantillo. Beloved wife of her devoted husband Carmine for 63 years. They resided in the Bronx, Tolland, CT and finally settling in Bronxville, until her retirement in 1983. She was employed by Allstate/Sears Insurance. She was a very active member of the Royal Arcadin for many years. Rosalie filled many roles as loving wife, caring sister, aunt, great aunt and friend. She had many passions, her special one was the love of the NY Yankees, a life long fan reveled in their wins and commiserated with their losses. The sound of a slot machine was enjoyed by her in Atlantic City and Connecticut Casinos. Her special Holiday was Christmas, especially the Eve of cooking her seafood specials. Rosalie loved a good joke and story which sometimes disolved her to tears. She was pre-deceased by brothers Anthony and Thomas, her beloved "children" puppies Dukie and Puppy. Survived by two brothers Benedict and Richard, two sisters Kathleen and Antoinette, 23 nieces and nephews and countless great nieces and nephews. A second grandmother to all. She leaves special nieces Florrie, Patricia, and nephews Anthony and Michael. A special thanks to all at Lawrence Hospital for the special care she was given. Our loss Heralds a new Angel in Heaven. Reposing Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9PM, Sinatra Funeral Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue. Mass Friday 10:30 AM, St. Anns Church, Midland Avenue
