Angela Colantonio, of Somers, NY (formerly a resident of Yonkers, New York for 60 years), born in Arce, Frosinone, Italy, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, NY at the age of 80. Angela is survived by her beloved husband: Giusto; she is the devoted mother of Josephine (Carol), Anthony (Nino) and Teresa; devoted mother-in-law to Elizabeth and Dino; loving grandmother of Christina (Ninetta), Matthew, Daniel, John and Anthony; cherished daughter of Eleuterio and Enrica (Germani); loving sister of Gaetana (Josephine) and Maria. Angela touched the lives of all those she met. She loved music, laughter, cooking and bringing joy to others. Her life was unconditionally fulfilled with constant love and joy she received from her family and friends. Her five grandchildren were her pride and joy. Angela worked as a seamstress for 45 years with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Angela is now an Angel and she will remain in our hearts forever. She was the best Mom and Nonna anyone could ever have. Family and friends are invited to Oelker-Cox & Sinatra, 262 Main Street, Mount Kisco, NY 10549, (914) 666-5891 on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral will be held at St. Francis of Assisi, 2 Green Street, Mount Kisco, New York at 10:00 am. Our Mother was a devout follower of Mother Cabrini, the Patron Saint of Immigrants. In lieu of flowers, donations in Angela's memory may be sent to St. Frances Cabrini Shrine, 701 Fort Washington Avenue, New York, New York, (212) 923-3540
