John "Sean" Smith, passed away suddenly with his family by his side on July 25, 2011. Sean was born on April 3, 1934 in Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan Ireland. Sean was very active and President of the McLean Heights Boys & Girls Club. Also active in the Cavan Football Club and Cavan Men's Association. He leaves behind his beloved wife Rose Marie and son Sean, also three sisters in Ireland and one in England, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. at 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY, on Thursday July 28, 2011 from 2-4 + 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:45AM at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241 St., Bronx, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in his name.
